I forgot how bad this game was, it was a beautiful looking tech demo for the forest parts on the Amiga, but that was about it. Though it goes to show that all the effort was put into the look and sound on the amiga given the progressively better 2 then 3 both looked worse in the GFX department but played much better (aside from the unforgiving nature of 2 that would mean one little puzzle mistake means start from the beginning again, and everyone I know who played it using the Ten Pints cheat just to get rid of one more annoyance), sound was as good, especially the Miami Vice death music in 2.

The CPC version is, of course, a Spectrum port so that has to be taken into account as well...
Needless to say, the CPC version should have been made from scratch, in mode 0, 16 colour mode...

Considering the hardware and the original game it is based on, I think they are both fantastic. I would give the nod to the CPC version for the forest level and the music seemed to be a bit better (odd as I thought both had the same sound chip). As a side note both games having in game music is a plus point over even the ST version (again same sound chip)

When you got to this point in your gaming journey you knew you were long overdue an upgrade to the Amiga. These ports are terrible.
