Dr Turek left out praising. We are commanded in several scriptures to praise God. It is spiritual warfare and it is edifying to us, our spirit. A Christian without being in the word of God every day and knowing scripture is like a soldier going to war without a helmet.
In my prayer time morning noon and night, I do speak directly from my heart but I also pray the word of God in my prayers. Also, there are some really great prayers written by saints who have committed their lives to the service of God, which I read out loud, and I eventually memorized them. These 3, scripture, praise & prayer are all edifying and NECESSARY like the air, water & food we need to sustain us. God bless ya'll.

Two of the best ways are prayer, reading the bible daily.

What a great question bro. God has been wanting me to "practice" having more faith more often. So I have been praying for things more often, big & small, and trying to practice having "assurance of things hoped for(Heb11:1)" by asking Him and knowing what im asking for is aligned with His will, and even some that I'm not sure it's aligned(hopeful it's aligned is what i mean) i just started but I know He's wanting me to ask for more things more often so we'll see how it goes

Seek God with your whole heart and mind asking Him to help you grow and stay in faith, study the Gospels, and also study the whole Bible. Ask Him to fill you with the Holy Ghost ....❤

All true. I believe its impossible to spiritually grow without being connected to a body of believers. Not to say one can't be spiritual, jist growth comes from those things mentioned here

I would add in FASTING...

Fasting is HUGE and doing it while you get away from not just food, but all pleasure. Then while you are fasting, worshipping with music and prayer while reading the word. Seek the Father's will.

A christian among atheists is an extremely difficult test of faith. Being around like minded people helps tremendously.
