I rarely comment on videos but this is the best video on green reading I've ever watched. A combination of lining up the putt outside the hole to not miss it low, and then moving my head until my eyes agreed on the start line saw me drain the most putts outside of 3 feet ever in a round. Thanks!

Great video! Lots to take in, but a couple quick takeaways; If your gonna miss, miss on the high side. Therefore, over read your reads (IE: assume more break). In a way, it kind reminds me of simple strategies like, aiming for the fat part of the green.

There’s always color variations and small debris on the greens, if you can find a landmark in those variations where your aim point is within 2-3 feet of your stance, it makes lining up your shot easier. I stand behind my ball and while I have my ball and the cup are in sight, I take my practice swings to visualize my speed, then pick out my aim point and my landmark closer to the ball. Then I address the ball and align to my landmark then swing with the same speed as my practice stroke. I will keep these lessons in mind, maybe my 1 putt % will go up a bit.

I think hearing and seeing, "taking more break finishes closer to the hole", builds immense confidentiality when standing over a putt.

Not sure how you do it, but you always leave us with something to think about.

Golf instruction is full of little nuggets like this and as soon as it gets let out of the bag I notice that every youtube channel does a video on it as if the secrets out they may as well get some views on their videos.

Can't get enough putting videos. I watch your best putter on YouTube video a lot. I know you dont advocate learning swing technique on YouTube but that tip he gave you in that video to lower your hands to align the club shaft through your forearms, that has been very beneficial. Thanks for including that.
