I appreciate your honesty! Sometimes books don’t live up to the hype but every once in a while we find a quiet gem of a mystery.

I love the Diva series! It just gets better as it goes. You really get to know the characters and the ups and downs of Sophie’s love life is a good side plot.

Thank you so much for sharing your reads with us. I picked up “ Death at a Scottish Christmas” from the library and I really enjoyed it. It’s part of the “A Scottish Isle Mystery” series. I grabbed it because I loved the cover. 😊You got me started on the Scottish Bookshop Mysteries which I continue to work through. I have the latest book on order. Thank you for your honest recommendations. Merry Christmas and enjoy the holidays Amy!
Happy reading!

I loved the Christmas Carol theme in A Deadly Chapter. The current book I'm reading You Feta Watch Out by Linda Reilly also has a Christmas Carol theme and I'm really enjoying it. I DNF'd The Last Word. It was just too dark and ominous for me. It's worth DNFing a book that isn't working for you so you can get to a book that's perfect for you. My favorite reads in November were I'll Be Home For Mischief by Jacqueline Frost, Fondue or Die by Korina Moss, and Murder Most Owl by Sarah Fox.

Glad to hear you are still enjoying the Caribbean Kotchen Series...I'm on Reyes' 4th book right now. Best thriller/mystery i've read lately is Hidden Pictures-Jason Rekulak. It was such a page turner! Happy Holidays 🎄🎄

I listened to it on audio. It was entertaining and the twist was amazing! I also listened to The Twyford Code on audio as well. I enjoyed both of them on audio because it felt like the people were telling me the story.
I thought the ghosting the Mrs Muir series was weird too! I’m glad it wasn’t just me.

My favorite cozy mystery I read in November was a Doomful of Sugar by Catherine Bruns. There are just too many books to read to keep reading something you are not sure about! I have become much more aggressive with DNF's too.

I tend to be pretty brutal when it comes to DNFing - too many lovely books waiting LOL. I have been wanting to start the Chris Cavender series for a while so I did get it, as well as The Last Word; thank-you for those recommendations 😉

Have you read the Christmas Tree Farm series by Jacqueline Frost? Such a good cozy mystery series.

Hello Amy Marie, again, I am so impressed with how many books you have read! I read 8 books last month, 6 audiobooks & 2 eBooks. They were Ill-Fated Fortune by Jennifer J. Chow (first book in her new series A Magical Fortune Cookie Series), Undercover Kitty by Sofie Ryan (Elvis undercover at a Cat Show!), Aunt Dimity & The King’s Ransom by Nancy Atherton (Lori's stranded at The King's Ransom Inn due to a storm. I liked her relationship with her new friend Bishop Wyndham who are both trying to figure out a mystery together), Chilled To The Cone by Ellie Alexander (Jules is expanding her business into the Railroad District but is this a mistake when murder, vandalism & arson happens?) Devil’s Food Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke (The ending was a surprise to me), A Midwinter’s Tail by Sofie Kelly (A fundraising gala, wedding preps and of course another murder), The Last Mrs. Summers by Rhys Bowen (Darcy is on a assignment so Georgie goes with Belinda on an adventure to Cornwall to see a Belinda's cottage that she inherited. Bowen's homage to Daphne DuMaurier's Rebecca) and
A Fatal Feast by Jessica Fletcher & Donald Bain (My second Jessica Fletcher book). I think my favorites were The Last Mrs. Summers, Chilled to the Cone & Undercover Kitty. Of the books you read, I love the Tea Shop Mysteries, I have read through book #24 A Dark & Stormy Tea. I also enjoy The Domestic Diva series, they keep getting better and better. I just finished #8 The Diva Wraps It Up which is set during Christmas. I'm going to finish my last Family Skeleton Mystery this month so I'll need to start a new series next year. I'm interested in The Deputy Donut Mysteries and The Secret Bookcase Mysteries. For December I'm reading all Christmas mysteries with the exception of one Thanksgiving mystery I started on the last day of November. Happy Holidays!
