What to Expect From Genshin 3.8 Update ?

Genshin Impact’s version 3.8 update is shaping up to be the final update for the Sumeru region, and it is anticipated to release around the first week of July 2023.

Beyond the vast forests and deserts of Genshin Impact’s Sumeru region, the update will also bring its share of events as well as reruns of character banners and more.

While the Genshin Impact Special Program stream for the version 3.8 update has yet to happen, there is plenty of speculation already about what content will be included in the update.

As for the characters that will feature in the version 3.8 update, there aren’t any new characters expected to be released at this point, instead, the update will be rerunning existing characters.

The 3.8 update will be giving out a free 4-star character from one of the events, since the 3.7 update gifted players a weapon, the Ibis Piercer Bow.

The free character hasn’t been confirmed yet, but leaks are pointing toward Layla.

One of the 5-star characters in the first phase of the event wish banners is extremely likely to be Eula, known for her incredibly powerful elemental burst.

Eula is the character with one of the largest gaps since her last appearance so that's why community thinks that she might return in 3.8.

The other 5-star character expected to appear in the phase 1 event wish banners for the 3.8 update is Klee.

The 4-star characters in both of the phase 1 event banners are expected to be Mika and Rosaria and Razor.

For the phase 2 event wish banners, the 5-star characters are expected to be Wanderer and Sangonomiya Kokomi.

The 4-star characters of the phase 2 banners are expected to be Thoma, Yanfei and Faruzan.

The major event for Genshin Impact's 3.8 update will take players to a unique location that will only be available for its duration.

There are expected to be new character outfits in Genshin Impact for Kaeya and Klee.

The 5-Star weapons coming in the 3.8 update wish banners are anticipated to correspond with the character banners.

For the 3.8 Eptiome Invocation banners, players can expect the Song of Broken Pines Claymore and the Dodoco Tales Catalyst in phase 1.

And the Everlasting Moonglow and Tulaytullah’s Remembrance Catalysts in phase 2.

Dodoco tales will not be the weapon. It will be lost prayer to the sacred winds. Dodoco tales was an event exclusive weapon so when klee has a banner the weapon tied to her is lost prayer. Great video, just correcting that one thing 👍

dodoco tale is an event limited 4* weapon for klee and there's no way they're gonna feature it on her weapon banner.. it will be "lost prayer to the sacred wind" most likely
