Tuck in your t shirts while grinding guys. When I was 14 years old I had a grinder bite the bottom of my t shirt and it rolled up all the way to my chest before I was even able to take my finger off the trigger. I’m thin like you guys are so don’t think a decent fitting shirt and a flat gut will save you.

Amazing demonstration!
For those wondering the guard on this blade doesn't do anything! Guards were created for abrasive wheels like grinding and cutting, that can shatter and become a projectile and also to avoid injuries with the edge of the wheel. This wheel have all the cutting blades close to the edge but not right in the edge, still those blades are very dangerous and is recommended to use the guard. Now there are some other wheels that have the blades not as close of the edge as this, they are more for planning but they can dig well too; in this case the guard can be removed as there is no protection been offered here!

A bit more on safety, wear a face shield, ear muffler, and a face nose mask, breathing sawdust is not good as some woods are quite toxic. As one viewer has commented, tuck in t-shirt, and anything likely to get snagged, that angle grinder will be chewing your soft front before you have time to let go the trigger, it happens, I used to work in the hospital ED and to fix up significant damage. Make the safety issues at the start of your video, it is excellent advice for your viewers even if you chose the dangerous ways. An angle grinder is not a toy. Greetings from one who knows.

Thanks for the video. Waiting for mine - Looking forward to comparing cheap discs with it to see if the price tag is actually worthwhile or not.

I thought the contour sander was pretty cool! K don't mind sanding by hand but I could see how a tool like that could speed things up.

Where did you get the contour sander? I’ve done some carving and that would be a great help in the sanding process

Glad you’re wearing gloves, Stumpy Nubs got his name by using something similar and sliced his hand

Hey folks. Great vid! Question - could this be used to make vertical waves all around the outside of a jewelry box. I formerly made such a box using a flapper disc with a deep curved profile but sanding out the deep flapper disc grooves was VERY labor intensive! This curved carbide cutters about halfway up the turboplane curve looks like it leaves a smooth surface behind that would require a lot less sanding. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks a million!

Why not remove the grinder cover, hands are protected 😊
