Dominant cow, Setombe leads the herd through the bush on an afternoon adventure, while younger female, Pisa tries her best to push in front. Setombe’s daughter, Klaserie is close to her mother’s side, as the elephants walk together to the next foraging spot in their wilderness.

After many years of being an elephant enthsiast (since I was a child - I'm 66), I still don't truly understand why seeing these majestic beasts still fills me with joy and wonder. I am moved to tears watching this procession. Bless Adine, her staff, and you HERD supporters for all you do!
