The Brenner Pass is a mountain pass located on the border between Italy and Austria. It serves as a major transportation route through the Alps, connecting the Austrian state of Tyrol with the Italian region of South Tyrol. So, it is both in Italy and Austria.

The town of Brenner (called Brennero in Italian) is located in Italy, specifically in the South Tyrol region. It lies very close to the Austrian border at the Brenner Pass, but it is officially part of Italy. The nearby Austrian town on the other side of the border is Gries am Brenner.
