Honestly, this set really surpassed my expectations. I have never been more satisfied with a LEGO Harry Potter set when it was first revealed. I thought we would never get a Gringotts set that can connect to the 2020 Diagon Alley set, and I thought it truly was worth the wait. In case you didn't know, according to a review of the set, the base plate used for Gringotts is a brand new piece, which has indentations on the bottom sides to add more stability when placing it on top of the underground section. I'm so glad they did that; it shows that the designers thought about the process of how to make Gringotts stand on top of the underground section without making it fall over. Also, those pieces with the cracks are actually printed pieces, which may be a bit unfortunate since you cannot remove them, although I do like it when LEGO makes new printed pieces rather than almost completely relying on stickers. Another way this set exceeded my expectations is that they included more minifigures than I thought they would. Before this set was even revealed or announced, I thought of getting 10 figures at most, and they gave us first-year Harry and Hagrid, and even a scary-looking Death Eater, which is great for army building! The set has some additional references that will surprise you once you build the entire set, although it will take a while for you to finish it due to other circumstances. I think the Ukranian Ironbelly looks very good, although I wish there were a few less light-bluish grey pieces used. My favorite minifigure of this set is undeniably Hermione disguised as Bellatrix, and she is now my favorite LEGO Harry Potter minifigure from this year followed by either Lord Voldemort of thr Grey Lady. I do wish this set was just a bit cheaper at $400, but I don't think it's a bad price for what you get, especially when it has pretty much everything one would want from a D2C Gringotts set. Overall, this is pretty much every LEGO Harry Potter fan's dream come true.

Those are printed marble columns. Not stickers. The “cracks” represents the marble effect. I’m glad it’s not stickers, I think it looks decently well designed. Great to see Gringotts finally!
