Call it Wall-E and brace for the lawyers!

Also, every day you could put someone else behind the black bars :)

If you took the enclosure off them is there room to overlap the bezels to make the gap half the size? I know you would have some z difference but i'm curious how noticeable it would be like my my bad picture below

Really nice project!
Some potential improvement would be to stick some addressable 144led/m led strip with black diffuser on the borders and write some software that lights each one based on the missing pixels.

This is awesome, great work. Have you done a teardown of one of the screens?

I had this idea literally years ago, but in my opinion, the technology is not widespread enough to make it that viable. I think if E-Ink wanted to they could literally cover an entire house in seamless colored E-Paper - But, unfortunately, most companies don't have that sophisticated of E-Paper, which is why you have to resort to... Price tag hacking. Really it is a shame that we have to price tag hack to get this sort of thing as it's hard to get anything else.

It never changed. Why are we supposed to believe this isn't a bunch of ePaper displays you set one by one, then assembled? Show it changing to a new image.
