The people who tell us to stop complaining are the ones who sold our future.

Dont blame the boomers blame the politicians...who are boomers...who were voted in largely by other boomers

Boomers didn't like listening to those older than them, either.

Do the math. Even if you paid 500 dollars a month in subscriptions and lattes and avocado toast, it wouldn't make that 2500 dollars a month for an apartment any more reasonable

You know, it's all fun and games until the boomers realize we can't afford to keep them in retirement homes... Medicare only covers about 70% of the cost where I live. And the costs are only rising

They didn't listen to the greatest generation either.

They have been telling us to shut up since we were kids, enough is enough.

Bro I knew back in the 90's when I was 10 years old. Things were getting worse in relation to what people were paid and compared to the cost of basic living. Mostly it is greed. In the 90's as a kid they would say 1% of people owned 48% of the available money. By mid 2000's it was up to less than 1% owned 52% of the available money. On top of that ONE Person used to provide all income for their family to buy a house and purchase food. Now two people have trouble keeping up.What do you think happens to society when less then 1% of the population owns 70% or 80% of the available money? The answer is society collapses. No society in history has lasted forever. If we do not start to pay that average person an actual living wage, I fear our society will continue to decline.

As the youngest Boomer I am ashamed of older boomers- They shouldn't display their ignorance of late stage capitalism, hypocrisy and greed all in one go.

Id argue this has been an issue since before 2020... but it hit alot more people and grew exponentially around that time.

This is your regular reminder that the original name of the "Baby Boomer" generation was the "Me Generation" because they made it all about themselves.

Imagine thinking the problems we face is because of our ($20 a week max) avocado toast addiction... 😂
