Landscape Photography On Location - Completely Unprepared

Hello friends! So I went out and shot some landscape photos with my Fuji GSW690ii and one roll of HP5+. I say one roll because I forgot all my other film at home! I also forgot my password to my DJI account so I couldn't fly the drone.

This could have ruined my day. But I took advantage of the one roll I had and the beautiful weather and really enjoyed myself. So, just remember that if your day seems to be a bust, all you have to do is keep a positive mindset and everything will turn out fine!

I loved the monochromatic photos… I “tripped over” the video when I opened the iPad! I’m so happy I caught it at what was, for me, a really great moment. I’ve liked all the videos I’ve watched on your channel, but this has to have been the most enjoyable from my POV. Especially because you were in a predicament such as I have (often) shared, but I’ve found one sometimes has a great outcome with fewer choices.

i dont know what youre talking about...just did about 50 digishots with my Handy of an glass Christmass-Ornament, that i didnt know is lit seperately to the Rest:)
Serious now- making Numbers small makes all Items precious, and you did take care of it to happen. Great Shots, and great that you let us have Part and that you are as well as it can be :)
As you know, such endless Landscapes without any Sing of actual Human Activity may be the one Thing to hold someone back from settling over to good old Bratwurscht Country;)

My father, how was a keen photographer, thought me never to take more than one roll of film per body when shooting. More than that, he did limit ME to only have 12 shots per body. It did teach me one important lesson that got lost with digital: No matter how many shots you have available, the only shot that matters is the one you are currently thinking about. With digital that went out the window. And yes, I shoot digital for the most part, but the pentax ME and canon T90 still get a regular outing. Just 2 bodies, one lens per body, one loaded with colour positive, one B+W negativ. And the funny thing: It pays to think... 😅

Great to see u back, Nate! My 6x9cm is a Mamiya Super 23; my 6x6 is a Pentacon six; my 24x36mm are Olympus and Canon. Haven done analog in a while, but I know a few tricks. Wanna mention the german company Zörkendorfer. They offer a lot of fascinating stuff. I own a few. I did some few stereosocpic pics, even down to macro.
Kinda shy to give away personal data. I'll give you my mail addy in a next comment. I'll delete that one, as soon as I'll find you read it.
That way I can send you pics of my equipment and ideas of usage.
