13:34 the letters don’t have any lore significance, however, they are there because Vader’s lightsaber is made from a MPP Flash Gun which has those letters engraved on it.

The letters on Vader’s saber mean nothing they’re from the original prop of a MPP flash camera which goes like this E-extension S-Shutter and B- battery

Did u know that Dartyh Vader’s saber can actually chang its blade length to confuse his enemies by making them think it’s shorter than it actually is, it’s one of the reasons he was able to defeat Obi-Wan

In the movie when Rey activate the lightsaber she actually press the red button not the golden piece. You can find it in the trailer
