When Obito teleported to this false grave and trashed the flowers, that was a real moment of weakness that motivated him to spearhead the Infinite Tsukuyomi by himself because he wanted to be sure others wouldn't suffer anymore. I thought he was angry and simply wanted to discard his memory of his friends but rather saw them as victims of the shinobi world and simply wanted to free them.
