Short and Sweet Q&A | Dance, DCC, Netflix, and What's Next

Hi Lovelies! I struggled with knowing what my first YouTube video should be but thought this would be a good intro to get up and running! While I don’t know you…as a fan… your proudest moment as a Dcc was at the end of the document series when you decided not to try out again. The realization that the thing you loved the most was the thing that hurt you the most….that takes guts lady. So proud of you!

You are obviously SO talented but what I thought was very special was the way you talked to community members when you went with the DCC to do outreach (talking with the elderly, even visiting your bus driver when he was hospitalized for the stroke). You have an unspoken gift of connecting with people, and making people feel seen and loved. I don't think you can teach that to someone! You were such an asset to the DCC & represented the organization so beautifully.

Your story resonates with me because many people in their late 20s, after working for a few years in a corporate job, often ask, "What's next?" Sometimes, leadership doesn't recognize your qualities and may even think you're lacking something. In reality, you truly want to excel in the organization, and your passion is so strong that it may seem to them like you're trying too hard. At this point, you have to realize that there are many greater opportunities out there. If an organization does not value you, it's better to find something else. I'm at that point right now too. I feel like I don't need to prove anything to them. All I need to do is change. There's no need to stick around and change their thinking when life is too short

It’s probably a bit late to comment on this video now but I finished watching the doc a few weeks ago & I have to say I saw a lot of myself in you despite being British & I cannot dance to save my life. I also had a hard time with acceptance & making friends past the age of 16. Many people assume if you’re good looking that you must have the world falling at your feet & a perfect life and that’s simply not always the case.
And you are not behind in the game of life … I felt exactly the same way at 24. I’m 29 now married with 2 kids and only now do I realise I’m a very young wife/mum by today’s standards. It doesn’t matter what age you get married, have kids or achieve your dream career as long as you enjoy life & know when to put yourself first 😊 everything will happen when it’s supposed to.
Anyway you’re super talented, clearly a very genuine kind person & you have a super exciting life despite the struggles you’ve been through! You are blessed ❤ best of luck in your new adventure you will smash it xx

Watching the netflix doc you were my favorite person on DCC your personalty is so warm and so sweet you always have such a warm lovely smile no matter whats going on or how stressful things got.
