Today in XDefiant we got a fairly large update that includes weapon balancing, ability balancing, recoil fixes, and much more and I wanted to go over this patch to show exactly what changed with before & after comparisons whenever viable. 11:39 yes! Big W! It made the hit reg feel horrible because you’d see your tracer going through an enemy and not getting a hit marker, when in reality the tracer lags behind and you actually missed the shot

Can confirm: the MDR with heavy barrel is potentially meta. It might be a top 5 gun now with heavy barrel. I win gunfights against AK, ACR, and MP7 frequently with it

Let’s appriciate these developers that are really listening the community and trying to make the game enjoyable for everyone with all these constant good changes.

Give them time, the game has a good potential, in my opinion.

I mean with spider bot, just made something like pulling animation for it and make it so its only use the left arm so the player still be able to hipfire anyone who comes in their way... its balance that way, still slowed until it pulled out completly but still be able to contest the fight against people around you is going to be nice

My one and only counter before the Intel suit nerf was to just run away and get out of range of the ping. Thankfully I dont have to run so far anymore :]

I really enjoyed this patch and how we’ve been able to communicate efficiently to get these issues resolved. XDefiant is def gonna live a good life being a free FPS

I was suffering with the matchmaking taking forever with my ping. I'm glad they made this change. Now I can play more often instead of waiting 5 mins before jumping into a match. 5 stars for this update!!!🎉

I love the Intel Suit update. I agree that it isn't what I was originally hoping for, but it _is_ a solution I hadn't considered, and I can see how impactful it will be. Realistically, it should just be enough information to help you make decisions, cover your flanks, etc., not literal wallhacks for your entire team. If I were to replace it entirely, I'd probably swap it with something more like Recon's Sensor Dart from Blops4.

RE: Recoil animations - I have to wonder how many of the "bad hitreg" complaints were actually just due to the mismatched recoil animations. There definitely _are_ improvements to be made to the networking, but the recoil was likely a compounding issue.

RE: Recoil recovery - This probably will continue to not matter much for automatic weapons, but I could potentially see big benefits for burst fire weapons.
