I'm not feeling the design, especially the headlight. Also, it's a bit heavy for a naked sportbike @ 527 lbs.

Just put a deposit on one yesterday (Feb 22/'20) with a trade of my Suzuki Bandit 1250. Bike won't be available until late March-early April but I'm ok with that. Riding in the Philly, PA area sucks until mid April anyway. WOOHOO!

I'd love to see Kawasaki come out with an H2 Retro that looks like the 1972-73 H2 but with a 750 cc supercharged engine and weighing about 450 lbs wet.

Mcn, who were at the same event stated the double sided swingarm was intended to make the bike look like the other Z's. If it was to make it stiffer, they would have done that to the insane h2r. Although I expect the real reason was penny pinching

I own a 2018 Super Duke 1290r. Similar power to weight ratio as the Kawasaki is heavier. I would love to ride the Kawa. Great review.

Great video. It certainly isn't the the most competitive neither does it have the best brakes or suspension but man does it make you feel good and put a massive smile on your face. I'll be doing the full review on the Z H2 2021 in the coming weeks, then have some mods to add such as the Scorpion can and Sprint filter (doing videos for those too). Will be an excellent comparison to the nakeds I have already done videos for.

I really like the quick "round up" of new bikes, but I still go read the articles - so for me, hearing it is very important. Cant read what it sounds like. And to me (who has plenty of fun tearing around track days and rider courses to improve my skills and thereby my safety on my rather slow stripped Versys 650) what makes riding great, is the sound, smell, feel.. all the "intangibles".. of riding. You skillfully convey much of that in your articles - but when you have 4-and-change minutes of video, let's hear it roar (or scream or sing or BRAAAP). This is a monstrously powerful bike, but it sounded.. puny. I joyfully watch videos on Petrolicious just to listen to old classic italian V12s or E30 M3's on my hifi.. check out how many car and bike videos that specifically emphazise "pure sound" - it's so much a part of the joy of riding. And we're not all watching your vids on tablets and smartphones with crappy sound :)
