Text Based Video Editing in Premiere Pro

Recently Adobe has introduced Text-based video editing in Premiere Pro. If you are a beginner and don't know the bells and whistles of video editing you can easily trim your video using Text Based Editing process. I'm a silent subscriber! I'm also a video editor (I can say I'm a bit of beginner/advanced) that's why I subscribed with your channel way back then (I think 5 months ago? Can't really remember)
Would like to ask few questions...if you're on MacBook? And what's your laptop specs? How was editing premiere pro on mac? I am thorn between windows or MacBook. Can you share your experience in comes on overheating issues, rendering some 4k videos (most of he time 1080p)? I am upgrading my laptop.
