That is so sweet. I love how this new generation feels the love. Restores my faith in humanity.

That was "good mood music" at a high level. Probably the most famous song from America is "A Horse With No Name". Definitely worth listening to.

America was a great band with three great songwriters/musicians. Tin Man, Horse With No Name, Lonely People, Ventura Highway are all excellent songs that stand the test of time, too many to mention.

Thank you cece for your reaction to this forgotten song! It's been so long since I've heard it that it was a real pleasure to be reintroduced to it! Ventura Highway and A Horse With No Name are great America songs you will enjoy!! And have you reacted to any songs by Bread yet? Best of luck to you with your channel!

Hey cece, I have a suggestion for you regarding your reactions. Whenever you enjoy a band or singer, try to listen to more of their songs. That way you can expand your musical knowledge and enjoyment. There are hundreds and hundreds of song for you to discover from back in the day, from the eighties back to even the forties and thirties.
Also, I just wanted to tell you that I have heard dozens of reactors but you are one of my favorites. I love your expressions and reactions to the music you choose to hear. In addition, I enjoy hearing your analysis of the lyrics. You are so charming and articulate. and I think it's so cool when your husband gives his opinions as well. I have heard most of the songs you react to numerous times but you shed new light on many of them.
BTW, I will suggest to you some of my faves-I'm sure you will like them, whether you've heard them before or not :Bee Gees, Chicago, Earth, Wind and Fire, Beach Boys, Kool and the Gang, Carpenters, Expose, Bananarama, Fifth Dimension, Four Seasons, Seals and Crofts, America, Eagles, Barry Manilow, Sinatra, Natalie Cole, Sara Vaughn, Diana Ross, Michael Buble, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Carole King, James Taylor, Carly Simon, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller.
Forgive me if I went off a bit but I'm just trying to help. (I have been doing the same thing for my grandchildren.)
Keep up the great reactions-you are such a nice young lady, a real sweetheart! :)

It’s actually a song about muskrats, not much in the way metaphors, originally recorded by Willis Alan Ramsey. Captain & Tennille got a Top Ten hit from this song several years later. But this is the definitive recording of this song.

I love love love the soothing, luxuriant vibe of this song. The song has gotten a bad rap because of the C&T version, but that’s unfair. Try some of America’s biggest hits, like “A Horse With No Name, ” “Ventura Highway” and “Sister Golden Hair.” They were all over the radio in the early to mid 70s, and for good reason.

The keyboard and bassline were sampled by Ultramarine in a song called “Honey” off their 1992 album Every Man And Woman Is A Star.

Search out more by America. Maybe "Ventura Highway" next. Won't find many you won't like.
