MARDI GRAS: FUN-FUELED VACATION INNOVATION POWERED BY LNG
Since the original 1972's TSS Mardi Gras, Carnival has come a long way. So here’s a brand-new ship with a familiar name. This ship introduces Zones — six themed areas packed with brand-new experiences for eating, drinking and spectacularly getting down to fun. There's BOLT™, the first-ever rollercoaster at sea, Emeril's Bistro 1396™ from yes-that-Emeril, Family Feud™ Live for everybody... plus incredible new bars like The Brass Magnolia and Fortune Teller. Everybody can enjoy Mardi Gras, sailing now. Come on down!

THE ULTIMATE PLAYGROUND
Don't let the name fool you — this zone is ages everybody and up. Kids, you're going to love this. And adults, the playground has grown up with you. The Ultimate Playground starts with BOLT™, the first rollercoaster at sea, an all-electric thrill ride that puts the power of speed in your hands. This zone also features the largest Carnival WaterWorks ever with three huge spiraling slides, plus SportSquare is here featuring an entire mini-golf course, full-court basketball and a ropes course.

FRENCH QUARTER
What inspired this area is no less than New Orleans itself… and if all this talk of NOLA has you half as hungry as we are, you’ll be pleased to hear that our French Quarter is lined with bars and eateries worthy of their namesake. For one thing there’s the spectacularly, authentically delicious Emeril’s Bistro 1396™, developed in partnership with yes-that-Emeril. The Brass Magnolia bar features not only great drinks but also hot jazz, live. What’s more, you’re just steps away from sipping mystically at the Fortune Teller bar.

GRAND CENTRAL
On a Carnival cruise your vacation starts in the atrium, and on Mardi Gras that's in the Grand Central zone. You'll find floor-to-ceiling windows that really bring in the ocean views. Of course you'll be back here throughout your cruise, taking a break with a nice cup of coffee or a menu of great food choices at JavaBlue Café, enjoying performances up on stage, or killing time fabulously at the Grand View Bar. Just wait until the sun goes down and the space slips into evening dress, transforming into an amazing show venue after dark! In Grand Central you're never far from great dining spots like Bonsai Sushi and Bonsai Teppanyaki, plus feel-good entertainment like Piano Bar 88 and The Punchliner Comedy Club.

I’d really like to see one of these tours where the pullout bed is open, to see how much of the walkway is obstructed, since it’s between the bed and the bathroom.

Hey Danny. A lot of different color schemes in the rooms. Like the flip up shelves. Big shower for a balcony room. Love the door opposed to the curtain. That couch opens up? Doesn’t look like there will be room to walk to the bathroom once it’s opened up. Nice size TV. Balcony tight with that table in front. Would have to put it in between the chairs. Then one chair would be partially blocking the door. Would be playing musical chairs and table.

Are there 2 levels of Cove Balconies on this ship. I think I saw a cove under the life boats, then I saw someone in a cove obstructed by a life boat

How come these room tours never show the functionality of the TV. I’m always super curious of how interactive the tv is

Lovely stateroom… can you please tell me the number of the room and what side the bed is on when you walk in? I’m interested in booking for next year.

It looks to me that the bed borrows 1 foot of space from the neighboring cabin. Every other cabin has the bed at the window or bed in the middle, and couch at the window, from other YouTube videos I’ve watched. 2 cabins together make a perfect rectangle. 1 cabin by itself is not a rectangle.

Horrible room, very narrow and the bathroom is smaller than other carnival bathrooms. The only rooms that are nice are the excel suites. The Havana area is a big let down compared to the Vista class ships . That pool is Like a bathtub size .
