Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies - Mission 18 Bad Ending

There haven't been any videos of the bad ending of Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, so I decided to make one. :)

Trigger: Complete the mission normally, but at the end, when flying into the central silo, do not fire at the large missile. Just fly straight out.

Everything belongs to Bandai Namco and Project Aces. I own nothing.

Yeah, the two games are different there. The exit hatch in Ace Combat 2 doesn't open until the cutscene.

Do you know what's funny? I try to do the exact same thing in that video to Ace Combat 2 a few minutes ago and I keep hitting the celing. Guess the silo's opening is closed on that game and you can't get out without destorying the missile, no matter what.

I didn't know about this until a few months ago, when I was trying to take out missile by using XLAA's, needless to say, it didn't go well.

LOL. I made this happen one day a few years back (back when I managed to shoot down one Yellow in Mission 5, which I can't do anymore for some reason). I'm really surprised that people haven't tried this or seen this before.

Compared to 2 and 5's bad endings, this one was just a bit weak.

Ok so I knew this existed, but isn't it also possible to see the missile while you get the game over message? I seem to vaguely remember that

I didn't know that was possible. I let time run out once many years ago and that cutscene didn't show up.

Let's not forget that there are other missiles that get shot out when the central tunnel is popped wide open, what about those?
