Before going to Norway my Norwegian friends warned me that people of Norway tend to less friendly.  I guess there can be an interpretation of what was meant by "less friendly".  Straight off the bus from the airport, looking at my map to get my bearings to which direction I needed to go to find my hotel, immediately 2 Norwegian men stopped and offered me help.  I wouldn't describe the people of Norway as being less friendly. Yes, I think Norwegian people tend to mind their own business, as one way to put it.  But they are willing to step up to help without hesitation if they see there is a need.  My experience in Norway was absolutely wonderful: from the people to the beauty of the land.  I absolutely can't wait to go back!
