How To Make a Wooden Train Whistle // Easy Woodworking Project

I had a wooden train whistle as a kid and I LOVED it!! So, I decided I would do a little research and make one. I got a lot of notes for this train whistle from Steve Ramsey over at Woodworking For Mere Mortals. He made one about nine years ago, but the basic concept is still the same. This whistle was a fun woodworking project and something that I will definitely revisit, with a few tweaks of course. that angled cut done at the end could be repeated on all four sides, not going all the way to the middle, leaving a flat portion on the bottom would look really nice and kinda look like a jewel

the wood wasnt dry enough most likely. Most 2x4s are too wet.
