London theatre tickets are known to be as expensive as the city itself but there are a number of factors that influence these prices. In this video, I share my suggestions on how to use these factors to secure cheaper tickets.

Thank you for this video! I agree that going on my own is a way to save money.
Also, just wanted to say - don’t feel you need to restrict yourself to matinee performances because of what you told in the former video! Perhaps taking an Uber from the tube station to home or just walking faster without holding the phone could be enough! 🙂 I think Mond-Wed night performances are still usually cheaper than Sat or Sun matinee.

Couple of further comments: using TKTS you are able to select your seat (and hence check if good view or not) whereas TodayTix Rush tickets can be a bit of a lottery. Online agencies appear to block book seats so can give impression a show or particular seats are sold out whereas other agencies may still have seats. Also there are well known theatre sale time slots in Dec for Jan/Feb and in June for August. Finally, if you have a disability, theatre groups and individual theatres will offer discounted tickets (Access Card is very convenient)
