Anyways here's a brownie recipe:) Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour in an 8-inch square baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Stir until well combined.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the mixture. Stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.

Yes and no.

1. It takes a long time to clear paperwork so they may turn 18 by the time it finishes
2. It varies by state, but usually you need to demonstrate you have the fiscal and mental aptitude to raise someone. Most 18 year olds don’t meet either and many adoption boards would be skeptical and prejudiced against you
3. Some states, like colorado, have a >=21 minimum age requirement unless they’re family, and others have age gap requirements like South Dakota where you have to be 10 years or older.

With that being said, they may still dodge all those issues and there are special circumstances, like if you’re an older sibling and need to adopt a younger sibling after being orphaned.

Usually though, unless you already have a stable job, credit, no criminal record, are in a eligible state, and can demonstrate yourself as a reliable guardian, no.
