How to make a thermoelectric generator?
A thermoelectric generator (TEG) is a device that converts temperature differences into electrical energy. It is based on the thermoelectric effect, which is the generation of a voltage across a material when there is a temperature gradient across it.
TEGs are typically made up of two dissimilar metals, such as p-type and n-type semiconductors, that are connected electrically in a closed loop. When one junction of the metals is heated while the other is cooled, a temperature difference is created, and electrons begin to flow from the hot junction to the cold junction. This flow of electrons generates an electrical current that can be used to power electronic devices.
