I completely understand this! I recently sold most of my Funko collection, and after parting with nearly everything, it really opens your eyes up to what you truly like! The only pops I regret selling are some of my Fruits Basket pops, which I'll probably be on the lookout for again. I really don't feel the need or desire to repurchase everything else. I’ve been debating on selling part of my collection, and collecting more anime. I’m really getting into anime and I love how detailed the pops are compared to other sets. It’s a difficult decision so I need some time to figure it out.

You’re doing great man! I do collect pops of my fav character, anime etc and in one version only. That’s why I’m always selling and buying pops which is truly fun ❤ now I’m at 204 pops in my collection and everything has its own space to shine ✨

Cleaning out the collection like this always makes me feel better about my collection overall and appreciate the ones I keep more. I've always preferred having a smaller collection anyways. I think I have around 50 pops plus some other things

Especially when moving to a smaller space, it's essential to purge your collection every once and a while!

I understand your decision. Decluttering and only keeping what you love can feel freeing & reclaim space. Personally, I’ve enjoyed pops over the years but have been waiting for ones I love. Recently, 3 came out as my first purchase… Harpies Pet Dragon, Harpie Lady, & Cresselia. They’re the only ones I have and with how picky I am, I think I’m fine enjoying, just 3.

I have actually gotten rid of majority of my game/movie collection (except grails) a month ago as well. When I first started collecting Funko, I decided to buy Pops of my favorite characters from every games I played and movies as well as animes I watched. But eventually I lost interest in games/movie pops and they ended up on storage collecting dust. I handed over more than 30 Funko pops to local charity feeling it would be better off in hands of those who actually want them.

And I too have been hesitant to purchase MHA pops lately. I love MHA and still do the point where I'm watching season 7 every Saturday. But, plot felt rushed for me in Season 5 and lost some interest. Since then, I've purchased 3 MHA pops and hesitant to buy more MHA in future.

I watch this video and realize just how hard it is to let go of my collections.. it makes me think the time i bought the pop and wonder how am i supposed to let go of it.. Downsizing is hard 😢

I fully understand not wanting a lot of commons. I normally get the common at first to havt the pop and then get rid of it when I get the chase

I understand you, because right now I am only buying certain funko pops of some characters that I only like and I try not to repeat unless it is a new mold or I have not gotten that figure, either because it is very limited in terms of limited pieces

I understand the feeling. Going on 10 years of collecting next year, and the collection has changed So much since then. Just recently got rid of 5 pops, which might not sound like much but it still took a lot of thought to get there. A lot of things have been sold, donated, or pawned over the years, but at the same time I have a few things currently on pre-order 😅

I understand ! You did great 💪🏼 I've looked at my collection too and sell out what I don't love or like a lot. I think we should collect what we really want and sell that pops that we did a impulse buy for example 😂

I have one of each character of MHA. I have a really awesome OOB display. I sold my other variations of Bakugo, Deku, etc. The only collection I have multiple forms for is Naruto

I would finetune my collection, but selling the ones I no longer want is the roadblock I always arrive at. I live in a small city where using the local marketplace isn’t successful due to no one else really collecting. That leads me to selling online and I just don’t know where to start. I don’t want to have to go pay any seller fees..
