Police Report Of Pete Hegseth's Alleged Assault RELEASED

"A woman told police that Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for defense secretary, took her phone and blocked her from leaving his hotel room before sexually assaulting her in 2017 after a Republican women’s convention in California, according to official records of a police investigation released Wednesday night.

The documents released by the Monterey Police Department say the woman, identified only as “Jane Doe,” didn’t remember much else about the Oct. 7, 2017, incident and believed some form of drug may have been slipped into her drink, she told an emergency room nurse days later."

The fact that this dude knew that the woman was married, and that her husband was also at the hotel, is a disaster. I don't believe for a second that he committed any crime, I'm convinced that the sex Was 100% consensual, but knowing she was married really calls into question this guy's morals.

This is VERY weak. Married woman doesn't answer her phone the whole night while her husband is calling her frantically? Sorry but unless you have visible marks of being physically restrained I don't buy your story. As for date rape drugs, that would have put Hegseth in prison right quick if they found any in her blood. She either refused the test or it came back negative.
Edit: Yeah, we don't know for sure. But if I was the husband she would have divorce papers served the next day.

I have strong doubts that he assaulted this woman, but like you guys said, "who knows". What I have issue with is his complete lack of morals or respect for the women in his life. He had a newborn at home during the time this incident occured and was out getting plastered and hitting on multiple women in public. Completely disrespectful to his family. I have 2 sons in the military and strongly question his judgement/morals and ability to make decisions for our military based on his behavior. I would be even more concerned about his ability to protect female military members. Gross . . .

We do know that the claim was investigated 7 years ago and there wasn't enough evidence to even charge him.

He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law---period.
