Pants sag is an act of conspicuous consumption just like a lawn was in 1700s.

It’s a display of power.

Anyone who has walked around with thousands of dollars in cash, a ton of drugs, a gun while drinking a bottle of liquor can tell you that all that **** is gonna pull down ya pants.

They weren’t intentionally sagging their pants,it just happened because drugs money and guns can weigh quite a lot and pull ya pants down when you walk whether you like it or not.

Of course, having your pants sag is gonna make it harder to run from the cops or fight your enemies.

That’s what makes it so conspicuous and “cool.”

You are claiming: I have a so much money and drugs I can’t even keep my pants up and I can protect my thousands of dollars and large stash of drugs even with my pants hanging off my ****.

Just like how noblemen in the past displayed their lawns to show they don’t need to grow food, today people display their **** to show 1. They can’t help it if ten thousand dollars and a pistol pulls down their pants, they can **** you half **** for trying to take their ****.

At least the real ones who started this **** that’s what it meant. Now you got broke **** kids sagging their pants, the only thing they saying is “ come and take my **** if you want it” cuz that’s the most valuable thing they got. Just like everyone has a lawn and forgot the meaning so too has sagged pants.

Edit: all this talk of “it being **** to sag your pants” reminds me of the “it’s **** to smoke” the onion video
