FINAL FANTASY XIV Eternal Bond After Party pt. 3 - Phaia and Azalie - Samurai Pizza Cats - Coeurl

Disaster strikes right before Azalie and I ride off on Chocoback for the final cut scene. The server crashes with a 90000/2002 error leaving me in tears in real life. Since we had a courthouse wedding this was our substitute dream wedding with friends. Oh, Square Enix! Why?

We're in the process of having an "investigation" done for the items lost (this is a platinum plan bond). Our friends missed out on the Demon Box minion, but they were more upset that none of them got to see the end of our wedding, especially when they found out how upset I was. No one wants to know that Mama Phaia is crying on her wedding day.

Azalie and I were married in a courthouse in real life with no family or friends to see our wedding. This wedding (we had a platinum bonding ceremony) was a substitute for the dream wedding we had planned for real life. We were going to dress as our characters in Final Fantasy XI and get married in a cosplay wedding. Circumstances being what they were at that time with my health issues didn't give us the time to do what we wanted. But love still gave us a magical day that day by bringing us together!

Now almost six years later, two people who met in a game are playing the next incarnation in that game and are still bound in marriage, both in the game and in real life!

We have such good friends in FFXIV. The Samurai Pizza Cats are an FC family and many of them were crying in real life over our vows. At the end of the day, server crash or not, this is what friends really are about! ^_^
