How to Replace iPhone 8 Plus Glass - My Experience

I show you how to replace a display on the iPhone 8 Plus. The glass is glued to the LCD so they should be replaced as one unit. While some may be able to replace just the glass, it is very difficult to to do without damaging the LCD and is not advised.

Makes way more sense to go to Apple to ensure its done properly and in the case of the 8/8+ not lose features like true tone or risk losing TouchID.

Great tutorial! It really is worth it to buy AppleCare with your phone, especially if it’s the 7 or newer because they’re just too sealed up for the average person to repair themselves.

Other than True Tone, is there any other differences in the display? Such as resolution, brightness, etc

The liquid indicator on your display is activated (its red instead of white), your phone has had liquid inside it 😬

Hi, your title said "How to Replace iPhone 8 Plus Glass", but that was a screen replacement not just the glass. Why is it that nothing that is googled is really that what is searched for?
Do you have a video for just the glass? My LCD is fine and an original Apple.

Aaron, is it possible the newer iPhone 8 plus will not allow your home button to work. It works with my old screen only. I thought I tore it but I didn’t. It will not working with any new screen I’ve purchased.

Does the True Tone toggle in settings actually disappear when you put a display that doesn’t have it? Also, does that replacement have 3D Touch?
