My dad is a twin and I would get sooo confused when they did this. I remember calling my uncle “dad” one day and he just went with it lol

My Dad has an identical twin brother too..but when his twin got married the woman didn't want him around my Dad so he used to have to sneak visits. By the time I was born and growing up, I didn't really know my Dad's twin at all, just his name. Then 1 year ago my Dad passed away and one of the last things he told me is that since I moved I live closer to his twin and should visit him, so I did. It was so eerie. I was going through the process of grieving my Dad and went visit a man I barely know who looks, moves, acts and reminds me so much of my Dad even the way their hair grows is the same, the look a little differwnt in the face and my Dad's voice was deeper but it was all still such a strange experience to meet his identical twin in my early 30's after just losing my Dad. 2 days ago made 1 year since he passed. I love and miss him so much.
