As a crazy comedy fan, the fact that Bill Burr was not a part of the TB roast was a glaring miss. I cannot think of a comedian better suited to be on this type of event that merges comedy and Boston sports. Bill is a true patriots fan, and one of the greatest comedians working today. Even though Bill wasn’t there in some way, I still really loved the roast and I was grateful Netflix brought the roasts back.

Something about roasts pisses me off as well.
Bill even said this recently( probably on his podcast or an interview) that roasts use to happen among friends, where everyone knows there is an invisible line that you can’t cross. In these televised roasts that happen now on network tv, first the folks on the panel are not friends and everything goes which is not what roasting is was about
