Can we get Thor to be in his modern Costume with the chainmail sleeves, or an updated version? That would be great!

A threat Bigger than Thanos, Galactus, Eternals, Celestials, Dark Phoenix, Evil Centry?

I can say with complete honesty that I am so excited for this event. It is almost rivaling endgame for me.

But ironically, the one question that is most important for both events is

Who’s gonna die!?!?!?!?

Hiya Marvel!
Lifelong fan and reader here, looking forward to this story but it's not the reason I'm posting here.
What follows isn't a complaint, just an observation and opinion.
For me one of the biggest differences between Marvel and DC that was apparent right away with even my very first issues of Amazing Spider-Man and Superman was One universe was firmly rooted in the "real world" while the other was more Fantastical.
One demands what I call Proportional Boundaries in its storytelling while the other because of its more Fantasy nature is inherently disproportionate in its storytelling.
Both Marvel and DC have fictional locales, countries and hidden secret places.
However DC relies upon a multitude more fictional locales.
Whether this detracts from the Universe or Adds to it is totally dependent upon the personal tastes of the reader.
For me it detracts from the story.
Out of all DC cities, of which there are many that sit side by side with their RW counterparts, ready to be threatened and damaged wantonly from superhero and villain clashes.
Marvel on the other hand uses its fictional locales to take a break from its use of RW locations.
Marvels longstanding reasoning behind this was to bring their readers One Step Closer to the story by using RW places, it became very easy to imagine something read to be taking place outside ones own window.
One Step deeper in Suspension of Disbelief.
Another thing that takes me Out of It, is the use of characters and hero's Beyond the Scope of their Suitable Fields Of Operation.
Batman and Family probably have the best Handling in regards to HOW their stories are told and the Scale of Threats they go up against are Usually tied directly to Gotham city.
I think the Majority of JLA stories that include say Bat man are mostly Awesome but...his use has Kinda snowballed outta proportion.
His intended Use is City Level stuff. Like Spider-Man, Batman, because of pure popularity reasons, gets pulled into all sorts of adventures disproportionate to themselves.
Since the introduction of the Year Long story arc special event beginning with Secret Wars then allowed to take off with Fall of the Mutants and Inferno, the Giant story events with a bunch of crossover issues has become a marketing gimmick that has a bar of expectations set Too High to Constantly try and meet.
Blackest Night is probably my biggest Disappointment in recent memory since the Clone Saga.
While the Clone Saga was just a mass market mess, Blackest Night was all talk and very little substance. A ton of splash pages to cram in as many characters as possible as if George Perez was doing the art chores.
Civil War was....a shitshow that was more of a bullshit reason to force Fan Battles than anything else.
What I'm getting at is there are fewer and fewer Stand Alone Stories of real Stand out quality that don't hit on the essences of the characters...but REVELS IN THEM.

Too much attention is being paid to put on the Spectacle for the Wow factor while doing so So Often that teams ups are Expected instead of a Surprise.
Big Crossover events have gotten to such ridiculous proportions that the nocturnal brooding costumed crimefighter created to go after criminals like, Gangsters, murderers, corrupt politicians without superpowers has been Overused and now has become a trigger to open up a Dark Multiverse.
Dark Knights Metal was an amazing and fun read.
Just it's Still completely Disproportionate to what was intended.
Multiverse versions of characters are great and fun to tell, but what about those Street Level stories?
Batman and Spider-Man should be dealing with the stories and such dealing with their cities locally. Any one watching the news knows how much violence and crime happens daily.
How LIVES are affected.
I find it funny that when these stories get touched upon now it's to serve a crossover event like Heroes in Crisis.
Everything Doesnt Need to be a Big Event.
Spider-Man, as awesome as he is, is a little out of his league in regards to being used against the likes of Thanos, same with Cap and Black Widow.
Just like throwing Batman up against Darksied or Thanos...its Pointless.
That's like trying to hurt and Adamantium block with a NERF dart.
Just because a writer took Batman and had him Outsmart Darkseid, like in the animated, where he rigs a large enough cache of Hellspores bombs to bargain, doesn't mean that the writer Should have.
Batman and family are my favourite DC characters because their stories for the most part Stay within Reasonable Boundaries for applicable tales that suspend my disbelief.
For the most part Marvel does this better than DC because of how it's universe Is.
That ridiculous amount of disproportion is best displayed by the Suicide Squad movie.
Everything is Within proportion until you get to Enchantress and her brother.
Those two characters present a problem that's Literally a threat to All Life on the planet.
RIDICULOUS PROPORTIONAL THREAT.
Now if the Threat had been say...a group of terrorists with a device that was either a lethal Nerve Agent, a Biohazardous weapon of a Thermonuclear bomb defended by terrorists and a few hired for money mercs like say Deathstroke and others....That would've been a Set up well worthy of the Convicts that made up the team.
All of the big stories hold No Meaning, deaths no value IF Everything is a Giant Production.
A single story of hero versus bad guy can stand out in its own if it's well done.
Like Spidey vs Doc Ock.
How many Times have we seen that battle play out in the comics?
That scene in the film was taken from those comic fights, none more so than when Spidey first got the symbiote suit during Secret Wars.
That tone, that dynamic directed the shape of how that relationship was and how hero and villain regarded each other.
That's what made Spider-Man 2 so amazing.
In this age of translating or borrowing from the best stories Has to come with more Wisdom added to detract from the stuff that is truly too overused and just plain ridiculous.
So Marvel, I'm gonna suggest a dare.
For the next year...or two, no big crossover events. None.
Instead Focus upon great storytelling for all your individual titles.
Give us the moments that Prove each characters Skills beyond the obvious powers.
I'd also like to see a little fun poked at the ramifications of living in places where these conflicts take place frequently...Like home insurance rates for living adjacent to Avengers Tower, the Baxter Building or the Sanctuary.
