Something I love about Ki Sub is that he doesn’t lack self-awareness when it comes to the people he cares about (he first showed that with his sister when he was just a kid) and even if it was shown that he is absent-minded or even silly, he knows where he stands and I find him even more real now than when he’s playing dumb. He saw Jin Woo being happy there and he misunderstood and thought Jin Woo was finally with his ideal type, that he was so content with the girl there, recognizing her in the first snowfall and Ki Sub was looking forward to seeing the first snow as he wanted to be the one Jin Woo could recognize and finally see him as the person he wants to be with. He just stayed there and his eyes were filled with sadness and he couldn’t go for more or just wait for Jin Woo to explain. He gave up on his advances because he lacks confidence as he’s the one wanting to meet every criteria of Jin Woo’s checklist, but there, Jin woo and the girl were just realizing that their checklist notes were made to not like someone. But at the end of the day, Ki Sub just wants the boy to be happy, he has never wanted to be a burden in people’s lives and Jin Woo was indeed happy, but it was because he was all smitten thinking about how much he likes Ki Sub, his eyes sparkling, a soft smile plastered on his face. He was feeling pure joy just because of his feelings as he finally made peace with his love for Ki Sub 🥺

I also loved the way Ki Sub realized his feelings, it was so beautifully portrayed as he figured everything out by himself. He saw himself in the video, he saw his gaze landed on Jin Woo, as if he had an out-of-body experience and there, it hit him, he has been liking Jin Woo all along, he just needed to see how his eyes were so similar to all those that looked at him in the past as he recognized it was when someone is feeling love and he didn’t think he could be capable of loving someone, but there he knew his heart has already fallen in love.

Their reunion scene was so magical. They welcomed each other with open arms and you could see that there, Jin Woo was truly embracing his feelings and recognizing that he indeed fell for Ki Sub at first glance and he didn’t want to fight against this love anymore. I love that they both confessed their feelings with this hug, there was no need for words as they were talking the same language, they just confessed together. The way Ki Sub leaned in closer as if he was breathing the boy in, gently running his thumb on the boy’s back. They were missing each other dearly 😭
