What if a random text message led to the love of your life? In this romantic comedy, dealing with the loss of her fiancé, Mira Ray sends a series of romantic texts to his old cell phone number… not realizing the number was reassigned to Rob Burns’ new work phone. A journalist, Rob is captivated by the honesty in the beautifully confessional texts. When he’s assigned to write a profile of megastar Celine Dion (playing herself in her first film role), he enlists her help in figuring out how to meet Mira in person…and win her heart. I don't understand why the critics approached this film with such cynical reviews. It's exactly what it means to be, a lovely romantic comedy and that's a good thing! This film is a breath of fresh air with its sweet story in today's cinematic world. The leads are fantastic and the supporting characters are as well. Celine's performance was incredible, too. I really enjoyed the story unfolding, the journey of the chararcters and the happy outcome. <3 I'm definitely watching it again.

I love love this movie!! Who doesn’t need a reminder of what love feels like, how it comes in chaotic waves and how we wouldn’t trade a second of it even if we knew in advance its tragic or painful end. The movie is corny by the truck load. Celina Dion is so funny and we learn about her love for her husband. The subtle hints of caterpillars and butterflies signify transition, transference and metamorphosis. Can you fall in love with someone you’ve never met? That’s an experience I wish for everyone. Love was never meant to make sense. Makes us crazy yet we all want it and need it 🦋

This is a remake of a German movie called “SMS für dich” (SMS for you) which was adopted from a book with the same name. Loved the original movie in German and definitely looking forward to this remake. Loving the chemistry between Priyanka and Sam!! ❤️❤️❤️

Just went to see this film and really enjoyed the movie. Sam was wonderful, I thought the actors portrayed a touching story of a love and change discovered in opening up to each other. Celine Dion was an important link between these 2 characters and her sharing of her own love story gave it all more meaning. Her music is beautiful but her love story means much more to the story this movie tells. The movie was uplifting and a story I would want to see several times over.
