To clarify, this was not v11. This was actually v10.2 according to the car's "about" section. A Tesla rep also confirmed that there are no plans to bring this UI to the 3 and Y.

So the new cells cannot be made in any sort of volume after all? The pilot plant would have been enough for the expensive Plaid+ cars, right? How will this affect Model Y in Berlin that's supposed to have the new better "cheaper" cells?

I thought the refreshed model S will be using 21700 cells same as in 3/Y

The carbon-sleeved rotors is arguably the biggest new innovation here. All electric cars have suffered from the same downside compared to ICE until now, that they run out of "steam" above 60 MPH. Porsche / Audi "solved" this with a dual speed gearbox which adds cost, weight, and potential reliability issues, Tesla just solved this the right way.
