The stage begins with munchers and a Lakitu. Enter the fortress with the pipe ahead and thaw out coins to get the first A Coin. Thaw out more coins and reveal a P Switch from the garbage block. Collect one coin over the ledge and press the switch to invert the coins and garbage blocks. Collect 4 coins and thaw out more coins to hit another P Switch. Cross the garbage blocks by Boos and go up the pipe. Throw a vegetable at 2 coins and hit a P Switch. Take a Buzzy Beetle shell with you and throw it at a path of coins that were previously munchers. Reveal 2 invisible note blocks to find the 2nd A Coin. Turn left to find the 3rd A Coin and go to the dead end where the pipe is. The next room has the 4th A Coin and the pipe to the boss. Do 3 bops to each head of 2 Boom Booms to get the ? Ball.
