In this video I analyze and review the latest trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Is it better or worse than the 2017 BOTW trailer?

I made this video in like 5 hours, back to your regularly scheduled programming next week.

The MOMENT this trailer released i was thinkin about how it did everything you were talking about in this video, and i did not expect you to make a video covering it so QUICKLY! Solid work dude

You are NOT imagining Midna’s lament. The story implications of that are beyond my prediction skills, but it’s definitely there.

The moment I saw the trailer I thought "Stellar HAS to make a video on this one". Amazing work from the TOTK team.

It’s the music. The music alone is what makes this game, this adventure more and more exciting. This is a phenomenal trailer and presentation for this game. Absolutely stunning

My favorite detail of the trailer was the first glimpse of hyrule castle, having 3(4?) Notes from the classic Hyrule castle theme that immediately resolves into two notes from ganondorfs theme, its so subtle but packs so much detail

Every time I watch the trailer, I get chills from like 2:10 onwards, the music with the beat drop and then it syncing up with the parry was crazy.

I never finished Breath Of The Wild and considered myself not a fan of the series but MAN I want to play this game now. Incredible trailer.

Holy shit, thank you for saying so much, so fast without wasting a second of my life. Your review for the best trailer is the best I've seen. Perfect pacing, funny, and spot on. Nice!

I don't know how this video manages to feel this chaotic, yet be structured this well

Your last video reminded me how impactful the music can be and then I noticed in the new the gameplay syncs with the music during the middle part and its sick

I think where you're wrong (if you're wrong at all) is that the other trailers aren't garbage... they did exactly what they intended to do with them. This was the hype trailer. Those were just to keep the conversation going during development. I think they know their audience and the message they're trying to send.

I’m amazed on how well you edited this video in such a short amount of time! Well done on simultaneously responding and analyzing the new trailer god damn!

I believe the music during the sequence of cuts starting around 1:30 in the trailer is the Ganon’s Tower/Castle theme, and I think that’s so awesome how far they’re leaning into the return of Ganondorf in this game. I’m so here for it too I can’t wait for this game to come out 🫠

The party synced up to the music gave me chills.

What I also love is how the music at the second part is music we know and recognise, which starts to near it's end (we know it does because it's a well known theme) and then new (zonai) music does _something_ to it. It's like "oh no, we're not done here..." and it reverses or extends it by adding stuff to it until it harmonizes and it properly continues stronger and bigger than before. Which is amazing because it perfectly parallels what TotK is to BotW on a meta level.

Can someone elaborate on his reaction to the amber relic thingy? I haven’t played a lot of Zelda before BOTW.
