Today I changed my whole Madhab.
1. Toaday I am just a Muslim.
2. Quran says. Do not create sects. So today I call my self a Muslim only. (Salafi, alhadees, hanafi, sunni, shia are sects and sub sects) I do not call anyone of them as myself. Prophet Muhammed was just a muslim.
3. First I follow only Quran and then Hadiths if they matche with Quran.
Now lets put all Hadiths together and discuss. Which will make more sense, I will only follow that

1. Prophet PBUH died and we cannot ask him for help any more. It will be shirk. Quran clearly says the only helper is Allah.
2. How to pray. We must pray 5 times a day, If you pray any madhab way, thats fine, AS LONG AS YOU PRAY.
3. Do not get into to small matters, like if prophets can hear, see. or cannot hear see etc. That may you lead to shirk. JUST BELIEVE ALLAH KNOW THE BEST. AND I DO NOT KNOW.
4. Stoning to death is not mentioned in Quran. Only 100 lashes mentioned and 4 witnesses in hadiths. All major punishments mentioned in Quran, Even kill some one if he/she killed some only but mentioned kill some by stoning. Which hadith matches for not stoning. JUST COMMON SENSE.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Salafi school has been serving political interests of Saudi regime and governmentally funded. Recently, prince Ben Salman said: the Saudi society used to be a moderate Islamic society that wanted to abandon the support of the strict Salafi school . Thus, Salafi can be taken with a pinch of salt because of politics interfering with.

You're answer needs a lot more depth .. Which I'm sure Dr Saab can address.. why not a full Video? The viewers need to understand, who is qualified to access the sources ? What are the tools required? Can we just take a Darusalam abridged version of sahih bukhari, and muhamed pikhtall's translation of the quran .. and come up with ones own version of Allah's Shariah ??

Defo hanafi, the hanafi school was not formed by one imam on his own, it involved 40 great Imams who studied directly under tabieen, one of the teacher of Imam Abu Hanifa was Atta bin Rabah, who was the grand Mufti of Mecca, and he was one of the greatest student of Abdullah bin Abbas (ra), fiqh is not just picking out sahih hadith, its how the majourity senior companions acted upon and which method they favoured over other

the question itself is problematic. There are four mezhep regarding fikh: hanefi, maliqi, shafi and hanbeli. with respect to aqida: eshari and maturidi.


salafism is not a mezhep it is a total different concept. unlike its name refers, it is NOT like '''salafi salihin was like that so we are doing the same...'' .


Other 4 mezheps were already built on the ayet, hadith, sunnah and icma and qiyas.


so saying that i am not hanefi (or not maliqi, not shafi and not hanbeli) but i am a salafi is something like i met selefi salihin in my dream and i know what they do... no you are not able to make your own path by saying this.

Every Muslim is obligated to follow the Quran and the authentic Ahadeeth upon the understanding and methodology of the Sahabah and the Ulamah who followed them strictly. This path is known as the Salafi Manhaj, Salafi Dawah, Ahlul Hadeeth, Ahlus Sunnah, Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaal, Firqtun Najiya, Taif atulmansoora, all these terms refers to those who are upon the way of Rasool and the Sahabah in Aqeedah, belief, Manhaj methodology and Faham understanding in statements and actions. As for fiqh issues where there's no specific daleel, then we follow the shaykh Imam that has the daleel or one closest to the truth.

Being Salafi or Hanafi Doesnt help you any thing..How if you become both Salafi and Hanafi..The best thing in islam is to do what you are told to do in a Holly Quran and Do not do what You are told not to Do in the Holly Quran..am a muslim ..I practise 5 prayers every day and follow the rules of islam according to what Quran says..My wish is all muslim to live like this ishaallah..try your best to be a muslim not either of those groupes..coz they are made to devide you muslim so as you become weak..

I am just an ordinary Muslim. I have my Qur'an and Hadith. That's all I am gonna follow. Salafi, Hanafi, Shafyi, Hanafi...God! Why people divided themselves?!

ALhamdulillah... Very nice answer. I like it because it matches what i practice. I don't want to stick with one but want to follow true path which is Quran and sahih sunnah of our beloved Prophet (pbuh)... Anything you bring to me i just want to listen but before follow i will have to verify it by Holy Quran and Sahih Sunnah.

what i know is salafi movement already issued from ahlussunnah in muktamar ulama in grozny because their misconception about aqidah and their act that triggers conflict between mazhab

Salfi means following the Quran and Sunnah by understanding of Companions of the prophet peace be upon him and Tabee'n ( companions of the companions of the prophet)
So Salfi coud follow Abu Hanifa, Malik, Shafiy, and Ahmed

al-Bukhari (ra), an-Nawawi (ra), al-Ghazali (ra) were shafii, at-Tahawi (ra) and Ash-Shaybani (ra) were hanafi, Jilani (ra) and ibn Rajab (ra) were hanbali, al-Qurtubi (ra) and Ibn Rushd (ra) were Maliki. Even if they were masters of 'ilm, not even one could be equal to them among all the actual scholars ; they prefered taqlid or been "just" mujtahid in their own school because madhab got methodology (usul al-fiqh). We cannot mix our own views of quran and ahad ahadith like the wahhabiyya, it leads to awful contradictions & regressions like we can see nowadays pitefully, even in aqida.. As salaam
