2nd Grade Math 4.5, Model and Record 2-Digit Addition

Показать описание
We can record (write) 2-digit addition. If there are 10 or more ones, we can write a regrouped ten in the Tens column. The Tens column is the tens place value. Then we write the total number of ones and tens. We always add the ones first to see if we need to regroup a ten. Each place value can only have one digit. We can draw quick pictures to help us solve, then we can write the sum. We show a couple of examples of how to solve and do 2-digit addition. We solve three word problems that involve modeling and recording 2-digit addition with regrouping.
