For those that bought the Note 7 in the UK direct from Samsung please know that Samsung have no intention of offering us the goodwill gesture that american customers are seeing who bought the note 7. US customers are being offered the note 8 at a reduced cost if they trade their phone in. I like many of you thought this would be a great way to make things right with those that went through multiple recalls and lost time spent getting it sorted. I was told my case would be reviewed to see if I qualify for the scheme and less than 20min later I was told no. We are not valued the same as American customers apparently. I didn't receive any compensation for what I went through and I had not one but 2 note 7's recalled. I'm pretty shocked that Samsung would offer this to American customers but not UK customers as it seems like a good opportunity to show some goodwill and win back many lost customers. I think this will be that last time I choose Samsung as I can't have brand loyalty for a company that treats it's customers differently. Hopefully we could get a discussion going on here as I know many of you went through a similar experience.

Why aren't those from uk getting the discount like the Americans? Aren't we good enough for Samsung even though we put up with the note 7 fiasco
