Isn't weight a product of mass and gravitational acceleration, so why do we multiply it again.

force = mass * acceleration
But if the object is at rest how can the acceleration be 9.8 shouldn't it be 0 ?
And hence force is equal to 0
It might be a dumb question 😅😅

Good, but we also use in bulding mechanics N/m² as unit, and mark it differently - instead of P for pressure we use greek sigma, but these are minor differences xdd
