Our desktop metal injection molding machine was a hit with viewers, and when @hacksmith reached out, we couldn’t resist delivering it in person! We flew to their headquarters, H.E.R.C., to showcase the INJEKTO M and our innovative material, MASTE.

Together, we created custom metal molds using MASTE and used the INJEKTO 2.0 to inject plastic, crafting a replica of the HACKSMITH’s iconic lightsaber challenge coin. Now, they can easily recreate it anytime!

But this is just the beginning—we’re already planning our next epic collaboration on a DIY Metal 3D Printer. Stay tuned, because we’ve teased it right here on our channel.

MASTE is a revolutionary material. Once shaped—either by injecting it into a mold or sculpting it by hand—you simply cover it with our FUSION MIX powder and fire it in the included furnace. After a two-hour cycle, the part cools down to reveal a pure metal piece.

hey guys, I think your copper melting kit would benefit from having a tiny "slump plate" at the bottom, so you can 'shake it' uniformly with a hand-operated mechanism. Just google "concrete slump flow test". We use it to stabilize concrete mixes as its poured into the moulds🙃

Metal 3d printer would be awesome! Honestly, the sintering and burnout process needs to be made into a easy user experience more than the part creation side (in my mind).

So, they've 3d printed a mold of a mold of a mold so they could make a mold which would be able to make the metal mold so that hacksmith can use that mold to make plastic coins. Got it.
