I bought TSLA stock back 2018 at $230, sold it at 300 only to see it go up more than 2K a share’s.

I thing you got to go with the way you feel; even if you didn't make money, peace of mind is more important. Nobody can make all the right moves, all the time.

I made terrible money decisions in my 20s really terrible, I've been doing great so far, I enjoy analyzing the market. But let me talk about something important, I see many young and old make mistakes that I think should not be. I believe that everyone, young or old, should have an investment plan that increases their financial returns from three figures to six figures.

24% appreciation on real estate. 20-40% rent increases.
Missing out on buying rentals cost me millions too.

Love your honesty and transparency Richard! I’m very happy I took a chance on my rollover IRA and purchased 150 sharers of TSLA in April 2019. It’s been hard to hold but my plan was to not sell a single share until 2025 when I’ll be 59 and so far I’ve been able to accumulate 900 shares. Unfortunately TSLA has become way overweight (64%} of my portfolio and I may have to sell some shares as I need to address the risks of owning volatile growth companies at this stage of my life. Will probably sell enough by years end and move the profits into VOO or VTI. Already have a nice position in FTEC which has been killing it the last 3 years without having to assume the high risk of owning single shares in high growth companies. 2 weeks ago I established nice positions in both SQ and PYPL which I feel were way way oversold.
Love your channel and keep on doing what you do. I appreciate you, bro!

Missing Tesla wasn't a failure. Just a missed opportunity. But it's still a buy in the in the 800s once you consider that it will double in a year.

Successful stock traders do not watch the news. They buy/sell looking at raw price action

I missed out big time too. I work in finance and my job changed the frequency of our bonus so I didn’t have the monthly money to play with. It was tough to have to think about making enough money for 6 months instead of month to month and knowing how much I got coming in monthly. But because this has become such a concern i bought into a logistics company last year and we’ve been in the black since we started. Just had to pivot to another opportunity.
