Hush is Neopolitan's weapon from the show RWBY. One of the simpler designs, it's an umbrella--or technically a parasol with a hidden blade that can separate from the handle or extend out of the end tip.
Hush has a really nice and elaborate pattern on the canopy that’s like lace fabric, but figuring out the transparency for the pattern was a bit of a pain. The biggest pain was the folding of the parasol itself--It's one of the things I have to work on improving, and is one of the reasons why it's not as slick as it is on the show.
However, the animation was still really fun to do. While Neo has technically beaten both Ruby and Yang on different, separate occasions, it may not have been so one sided as shown here. Also I think this is the most I have used a first person POV of getting hit, so sorry about that.
Neo may have been one of my favorite characters from the evil side, and I’m glad I finally got around to making a video on her weapon.
