Part 3: Hwy 50 to the Weminuche Wilderness

Come along with us on the Colorado Trail! In Part 3, Lion and I continue our hike from near Monarch Crest and the end of the Collegiate West route to Colorado's exquisite Weminuche Wilderness. Several years of drought make finding water increasingly difficult as we travel southwest towards Durango.

We are really enjoying your CT videos, the landscape is just amazing. We are actually a few months away from our own trek, NOBO from Durango back to Denver. The footage you are capturing is awesome, but it looks like it came at a price, how heavy are your packs, especially after resupply? We sooo want to carry extra lenses...but the weight! Do you by chance recommend any good LUTS for editing in post production? I just got the Mavic Pro 2 & I'm excited to see how the video turns out! I'm trying to find some great LUTS for the drone footage. 😀
