🌸 Hey everyone, it’s Desmond Fambrini here! Today, I want to share a personal and somewhat secret reason why I always bring flowers to my students’ performances 🌷. It’s a little bit sad, but also deeply inspiring and close to my heart 💖.
When I was younger, there were times when I didn’t always have someone in the audience cheering me on during big moments. That feeling stuck with me, and now, as an educator, I want to make sure my students always feel seen, supported, and celebrated 🌟. Bringing flowers might seem like a small gesture, but to me, it’s a way of saying, “I see you. I’m proud of you. And I’m here for you,” even outside the classroom.
💐 It’s so important for teachers to show up for students at their performances, showcases, and events beyond the school walls. These moments mean the world to them, and having someone there can make all the difference. Support goes beyond grades—it’s about being a part of their journey and letting them know they’re not alone. 🫶
