Mr B: George Balachine's 20th Century with Author Jennifer Homans

Mr. B: George Balanchine’s 20th Century is the first major biography of arguably the greatest choreographer of all time. Based on more than 100 interviews and research in archives across Russia, Europe, and the Americas, Mr. B brings to life Balanchine’s tumultuous life story and the making of his extraordinary ballets. Homans, a former professional dancer who trained at George Balanchine’s School of American Ballet, is also the author of the widely acclaimed Apollo’s Angels: A History of Ballet.
