John and Jesus were cousins plus, James and Jude were brothers. All family, in the book of Jude the language used sounds a little like the book of Enoch talking about fallen angels and quoting for Enoch “he will return with 10, 000 of his saint.” If Jesus brother Jude quoted from Enoch suggests he must have read it with enough confidence to use it when writing letters. If they were all family it wouldn’t surprise if John and Jesus both knew other books. John 7:38, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Notice it says “as the scripture hath said” then Jesus quotes out of his belly shall flow living water. Bible scholars agree Jesus was quoting from an Old Testament book. But, no one knows what book. This verse / quote can’t be found anywhere. Does this mean Jesus read other books we don’t know about?

I have also heard that Paul the Apostle was also an Essene. Could this be possible?
